Horizon Scanning

To us “Legislative changes” may include more than Parliamentary changes, but further requirements from Government Departments (ODPM, LACORS, FSA etc), Industry Regulators & Institutions (for example, CIEH, RTPI etc) or changes in British Standards, for either an IT perspective, or from a Local Authority perspective. Keeping abreast of these changes means our solutions are the most up-to-date available.

CAPS Solutions is dedicated to providing applications that meet the requirements of Local Authorities. In doing this it must satisfy their legislative needs needs, providing maximum functionality for the present as well as the future. To achieve this CAPS has a dedicated research team who investigate up and coming legislation and discuss, with Local Authorities, the potential impacts upon workflow and systems.

Our customers provide the face of local government. We are proud of the strong relationship that we have with our customers and work with them, through user groups, to identify key areas where we can enhance our software.

Requests for change

Local Government is a dynamic area, and our customers are at the forefront of this – they require software solutions that meet these challenges. By raising a Request for Change our customer can let us know what extra functionality they need from their software. It is the strength of our relationships with our customers that enables us to respond to their changing needs.
