National Project - Environment & Community Online Residents e-Services (ENCORE)

The Environment and Community Online Residents’ e-Services (ENCORE) will provide easier access for citizens to information about the quality, cleanliness and safety of their local area. Having run a number of pilot projects in this field, ESRI (UK) is involved in establishing standards for the consistent management of these e-services.

CAPS Solutions and ESRI (UK) have a range of solutions that help local authorities meet the priority service outcomes for implementing efficient environmental management services:

Local View – Web Access – Is an integrated solution that enable Local Authorities to easily implement online community portals including, publishing neighbourhood information, 'find my nearest' search capabilities and online fault reporting, all presented in conjunction with an easy to navigate map window.

Street Patrol – Is a mobile street care management solution that enables field based staff to utilise mobile technology to respond to environmental incidents such as abandoned vehicles, fly tipping, highway defects, etc.
